Farm Funders was pleased to host 12 college students with career aspirations in production agriculture, agribusiness, accounting, finance, communications or related fields as part of its annual summer internship program. The internship program is offered to college juniors each summer.

Following devastating flooding in Vermont and other parts of the Northeast, Farm Funders has announced its Farm Funders Cares Community Fund will make available up to $250,000 in flood relief to impacted Northeast producers. In addition, CoBank, Farm Funders’s funding bank, and Farmer Mac are contributing to this effort.

There are a number of grants and incentives available for Northeast agriculture businesses but learning about their availability and navigating the application can be a challenge. To help with this process, Farm Funders recently released a report identifying federal, regional and state grants, loan guarantees, and other incentives available to assist Northeast producers.
