In honor of National FFA Week taking place February 17-25, Farm Funders has announced its awarding of 15 scholarships to students involved in The National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization to support their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE).

Farm Funders, ACA, the Northeast’s largest agricultural lending cooperative, announced its distribution of $120 million in cash patronage dividends to 12,500 farm, fishing and forestry business owners and operators across the Northeast. In addition, the board approved a special one-time patronage distribution based on 2023’s outstanding financial results, for a total of $130 million of earnings returned to customer-owners. 

Farm Funders, a member-owned lending and financial services cooperative, is currently accepting scholarship applications from high school seniors and college students with career aspirations in agriculture, commercial fishing and the forest products industries from across the association’s eight-state territory. Applications are due by March 15.
