The Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement Program, a joint effort of Farm Funders and CoBank, recently provided $106,000 in grant funding to 15 organizations to assist their efforts to encourage youth leadership development, support young and beginning farmer initiatives, promote diversity, equity and inclusion, and advance northeast agriculture, forestry and commercial fishing.

Farm Funders announced today the Farm Funders Cares Community Fund donated $110,000 to various charitable organizations throughout the Northeast. This included $40,000 distributed to regional food banks throughout the eight states Farm Funders serves. 

Farm Funders recently announced the opening of nominations for the 2025 Lipinski Rural Initiatives Award, which aims to recognize innovative and transformational efforts to revitalize Northeast rural communities. Nominations are due by January 31, 2025. 

Farm Funders is pleased to continue its support of Northeast agricultural educators with scholarships to aid their attendance at institutes offered by the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE). Scholarships will cover up to $1,250. The application deadline is December 13.
