Farm Funders recently announced the opening of nominations for the 2025 Lipinski Rural Initiatives Award, which aims to recognize innovative and transformational efforts to revitalize Northeast rural communities. Nominations are due by January 31, 2025. 

Farm Funders is pleased to continue its support of Northeast agricultural educators with scholarships to aid their attendance at institutes offered by the Curriculum for Agricultural Science Education (CASE). Scholarships will cover up to $1,250. The application deadline is December 13.

Farm Funders has announced its awarding of six scholarships to students involved in The National Future Farmers of America (FFA) Organization to support their Supervised Agricultural Experience (SAE). The scholarship recipients had strong projects and expressed a clear understanding of their projects’ impacts on their future careers in agriculturally related fields. 

The Farm Credit Northeast AgEnhancement Program, a joint effort of Farm Funders and CoBank, recently provided $105,000 in grant funding to 21 organizations to assist their efforts to encourage youth leadership development, support young and beginning farmer initiatives, promote diversity, equity and inclusion, and advance northeast agriculture, forestry and commercial fishing.
